Ibex is a fintech company that wants to create an app allowing people to transfer Bitcoins quickly and easily. They use a new technology that can move this currency rapidly, regardless of the country you're in. Their primary users are migrants who want to send money to their families in their home countries. For this reason, the app must be straightforward with a user-friendly experience, and they need help to achieve that. Additionally, they want someone who can guide their UX team for future projects.
The first step we took was conducting workshops to understand their expectations and motivations. We also prioritized features and, most importantly, gained an understanding of the business rules and the technology they use to facilitate such quick transactions. Finally, we needed to understand how Bitcoin works.
With this information, we defined a work strategy, with each step having its deliverables:
• Definition and categorization of the content
• Information architecture
• Navigation flows
• Wireframes
• Guerrilla testing
• Labeling or tagging
• User Interface (UI) design
All the steps were validated with the client, leading to changes that improved the user experience.
Challenge: The complexity of the technology and the world of Bitcoin presented a significant challenge for the app users. For this reason, the project required not only an app but also a well-crafted communication strategy across other channels.

Information Architecture
We facilitated and designed a workshop with the client, which helped define the information architecture and features. The information architecture underwent changes throughout the project due to iterative feedback from both the client and the users.

Navigation flows
Before starting the creation of the skeleton, we focused on developing the navigation flows, taking into consideration the following:
-
The list of features.
-
Activities associated with each feature.
-
The information architecture.
Mock ups

I designed the UI using a UI kit, picking the colors and typography to match the brand. I followed UI principles like grouping related elements close together (proximity) and used padding to create space and make the layout clean and easy to navigate. This helped make the interface intuitive and visually balanced.
At this stage, the ux writting became more complex as Bitcoin terminology was not familiar to the target audience.
