Catpocalypse: A Game Design Adventure
Catpocalypse is a passion project that began during my volunteer work at P1, where I had the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of programmers, game designers, and sound designers. Together, we continuously refine and enhance the game with new features, creating a dynamic and engaging experience.
Designing for games was a unique challenge that pushed me to explore a different side of user experience. Unlike traditional interfaces, game UX requires intuitive navigation while sparking curiosity and maintaining player engagement.
For this project, I created a robust UI kit with versatile components, ensuring developers could easily adapt them for various scenarios. I also designed the key game screens, icons, and color systems to craft intuitive and visually appealing interfaces. Each element was thoughtfully crafted to balance usability and aesthetics, ensuring players remain immersed in the world of Catpocalypse.
This project allowed me to combine creativity, technical precision, and teamwork to design a user experience that keeps players coming back for more.
